I watched as he proceeded to draw his treasure map. He started with a treasure chest and a huge X to mark the spot, then he drew I remember being told, many years ago, never to aim a camera directly into the sunlight to take a photograph. This of course, only made me curious about what would happen if I did! So I started defying this advice and took some wonderful photographs, finding out for myself how to position the camera to get the best effects!

Recently, TED released an studio-based talk by Chris Anderson, outlining the ‘secret to great public speaking’, in order to shed some light on what can make a good talk into a great talk. Key points: For someone who talks for a living, I should thrive in a networking environment, right? Wrong. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I can hold my own, put on my best sales pitch and sell my wares like any good little networker should, but do I find it comfortable, empowering, motivating – No, I do not!
