Last week I won a book! (Thanks #All Star Marketing Club.) I hadn't come across the title (Secrets of the Millionaires Mind) or the author (T. Harv Eker) before, so I wasn't too sure what to expect. I'm not particularly driven by money, so the title didn't fill me with much enthusiasm, but as I took a peek inside and turned to the introduction page, I found this chapter heading... ![]() "Who the heck is T. Harv Eker, and why should I read this book?" A rye smile came over me and I started to read. One of the themes I've noticed when I mentor Trainers, is the missing links at the start of sessions that mirror this chapter heading. The simple act of setting out some credentials AND asking the Why questions. Why are they here? Why should they stay? Why should they pay any attention to you or the content? Why do they have the right to challenge... in a professional way? You get the general gist! Although we would love to think that all our delegates are there because they choose to be, some times they are simply there because they have been told to be. Remembering this chapter heading and weaving it into sessions may just engage delegates sooner. Why? Because you simply took time to explain it! #all star marketing club #T.
