A year ago this week we picked up our puppy Maisie! Having never owned a dog, I had no clue what to expect. That journey home, the first few nights comforting her, followed by... Toilet training, health checks, first walks on and off the lead, puppy classes, even changing to adult food required research and a family debate.
A year later, we bimble downstairs in the morning to a waggy ball of fluff, go for walks in the park - off the lead! And in the evening, we get sat on by our now fully-grown dog wanting to be fussed over. Starting something new can be full of happy anticipation, but it can also be a little scary too. I read books, did my research and yes, I also used the internet! But the biggest resource of reassurance was the breeders What's App group, full of new owners just like me asking random questions at 3 in the morning! If you're thinking of starting a new career in Training and Development, then why not sign up to the ‘wait list’ for the Curious Trainers Academy, which will be launching 1st March. I'll help you take the scary out of your journey into gaining your first corporate training role, and along with a community of other like-minded souls we’ll follow a path of happy anticipation together. https://lnkd.in/gRpmSHB Comments are closed.
