During a recent trip to Legoland, I found a company timeline. This reminded me of how I'd used company history in 2 of my previous L&D roles, and also why... I believe it’s an important topic to include in inductions?
These companies understood the importance of 'belonging', and how this affects an employee’s relationship with the company. So, how do you create ‘belonging’ in an induction?
Now, I have no idea if Legoland uses the timeline in their induction, or if their employee’s feel as though they ‘belong’, but I do know that for new trainers, inductions are a great place to get experience.
